Frequently Asked Questions

What experience level do I need for your fishing charters?

Our charters welcome everyone from complete beginners to seasoned anglers! Captain Ethan, our 3rd generation local guide, will tailor the experience to your skill level and ensure everyone has a great time on the water.

What’s included in my charter booking?

All charters include high-quality rods, reels, live bait, tackle, and expert guidance from Captain Ethan. You’ll fish from our fully-equipped 23′ Sabalo center console boat that comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests.

What fish species can we expect to catch?

Our Southwest Florida waters are home to mangrove snapper, snook, redfish, speckled trout, black drum, and sheepshead. Captain Ethan knows exactly where to find them based on seasons, tides, and conditions.

What’s the difference between your two charter options?

Our Private Fishing Charter focuses entirely on 4 hours of fishing action. Our Fishing & Shelling Charter combines fishing with island-hopping to beautiful barrier islands where you can collect shells and explore untouched shorelines.

What should I bring on the charter?

Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, comfortable clothing, and a cooler with snacks and drinks. Don’t forget your camera to capture the memories! We provide all fishing equipment.

Do you follow local fishing regulations?

Absolutely! Captain Ethan ensures all guests follow Florida fishing regulations, including species limits, slot sizes, and seasonal restrictions. We’re committed to responsible fishing practices.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Safety is our top priority. If weather conditions are unsafe, we’ll work with you to reschedule your charter. Please refer to our cancellation policy for specific details.

How many people can join a charter?

Our 23′ Sabalo center console can safely accommodate up to 6 guests, making it perfect for families, couples, or small groups of friends.

Are your charters family-friendly?

Yes! Our charters are perfect for families. The Fishing & Shelling combination is especially popular with families as it offers variety and keeps everyone engaged throughout the trip.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially during peak season, when Southwest Florida is most popular with visitors. However, we often have last-minute availability.
